Hair Donations Over The Years at Alternative Hair Solutions

Over the past few years I have had the privilege of cutting hair so that it can be donated to The Little Princess Trust. Many young girls have been very generous in donating their beautiful long hair to enable wigs to be made for many young boys and girls who have lost their hair due cancer treatment or other conditions.

I have never had the time before to speak about the importance of this worthwhile charity as I’m normally very busy in the salon and almost never sitting at my laptop.

I’m using this time of lockdown to let you see into the other work going on at Alternative Hair Solutions. I could not go any further without letting people out there who are looking for help and support dealing with their hair loss issues know where they can find help.

I start with The Little Princess Trust. An amazing charity, not only do they provide Human Hair Wigs free of charge to every child but they also extend this to any young person up to the age of 24 who needs one, but they also fund research projects focussed on finding kinder and more effective treatments for childhood cancers.

Since 2016 they have committed more than £7 million across almost 50 projects covering a range of childhood cancers, bearing this in mind I want to start a process once lockdown has ceased and things start to return to some type of normal whereby i can start to help contribute towards The Little Princess Trusts’ fundraising endeavours.
